Anne-Marie Duff, an English actress, who also writes stories is a highly talented actress. Duff appeared on television in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats during the 90s. Anne-Marie Duff was born 8th October, 1970 at Chiswick London. Anne-Marie Duff (8 October 1970) was an English screen and stage actress. She became famous for playing Fiona Gallagher in the first two seasons of the UK television show Shameless. She then played The Virgin Queen Elizabeth I in The Virgin Queen (2006) and also the lead role in the TV series From Darkness in 2015. Duff was in roles like Enigma 2001 The Magdalene Sisters French Film 2008 The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I go to Sleep (2015) as well as Suffragette. She was nominated for BAFTA awards in Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to that, she was awarded the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for the television film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff has been a highly successful and award-winning English Actress who created her own mark on stage, radio and television. The roles she played in Shameless (a British comedy-drama TV series) and The Virgin Queen, a television miniseries about The Virgin Queen, a miniseries on television about Elizabeth I, earned her widespread recognition. Anne Marie has developed into an outstanding theatre actor following more than a decade of stage shows and has also worked with the Royal National Theatre.
